A Note on the Art
As part of the BMore Beautiful Project’s beautification efforts in the Auchentoroly Terrace and Mondawmin Neighborhood Improvement Association Neighborhood in June 2024, a mural of Greater Mondawmin with historical figures associated with the neighborhood was commissioned. The mural was designed by Tom Chalkley, a Baltimore muralist who also created the original Greater Mondawmin mural in 1995. The mural can be seen attached to the Gera Variety Store on the corner of Gwynns Falls Parkway and Reisterstown Road.
