Fulton Heights is a small urban neighborhood that sits just west of Penn North and east of the Robert W. Coleman community. It is home to New Shiloh Baptist Church, one of Baltimore’s oldest and largest Baptist congregations. The church was founded in 1902 and has been housed in its current modern facility since 1990. The majority of the neighborhood is home to residential rowhomes in Baltimore’s characteristic Italianate and bowfront styles, with a small commercial section at Monroe and Walbrook that features a laundromat, barber shops, church, and neighborhood tavern.
