Auchentoroly Terrace is a historic neighborhood that sits just west of Druid Hill Park and east of the Mondawmin Neighborhood Improvement Association Neighborhood. Auchentoroly Terrace is a both a National Register Historic District and Baltimore City Historic District and is one of the few neighborhoods in West Baltimore to hold both distinctions. The neighborhood is almost entirely residential and is known for its turreted rowhomes and distinctive apartment buildings on Auchentoroly Terrace. Parkwood Avenue, which runs through the heart of the neighborhood, is known for its unique public art, including local artist Loring Cornish’s mosaic home and gallery as well as the Parkwood Placemaking Project.
